My parents decided to name me Heather because it was an uncommon name (in England in the early 1970's... sort of retro or something). Then we moved to the US when I was three, and it was Heather here, Heather there, Heathers Heathers Everywhere!

I used to hate it when other people shared my name - I wanted to be the only Heather in the room! And then the movie came out and it turned into a joke whenever there was more than one Heather around....

Now I GLORY in the fabulous multitude and diversity of Heathers in the world.... I say Heathers Unite! Let's compare notes on what it is like to be a Heather :-)
